Ski Teams Collide in LMBF’s New Musical Comedy ‘My Twin Bridge Summer’
Green Bay, Wis. (May 19, 2017) – Diamonds and Gold and First Financial Bank present Let Me Be Franks all new comedy musical “My Twin Bridge Summer” at The Meyer Theatre.
Our story takes place in the early ‘80s at Pop’s Resort right outside Crivitz, Wis., at the Twin Bridge Park on the High Fall Flowage of the Peshtigo River where one of Frank’s most vivid memories involves watching the Twin Bridge Ski team perform with all of their amazing pageantry.
Two rival teams, the Twin Bridge Ski team and the Water Board Warriors, are going to compete at the state meet. Water Board Warrior leader (Tom Verbrick) sends in a mole (Kasey Corrado) to find out what the Twin Bridge team has up their sleeves, and to avenge his father whom Frank had injured in a previous skiing encounter. Twin Bridge ski team leader (Frank Hermans) is asking hot dog skier (Zach Hibbard) to pull off a mobius flip, the most dangerous move on ski’s. Pat Hibbard narrates the fictitious tale of the time he almost got the girl, almost did a mobius and still had hair.
“My Twin Bridge Summer” runs at the Meyer Theatre June 9 through June 24, Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday June 24. An encore performance will also take place at the Manitowoc Capitol Civic Center Wednesday, June 28.
