Remember Frank’s Dinner Theatre from years ago? It was the place to be for an all-in-one evening of food, fun and entertainment. It’s coming back this year! In honor of Let Me Be Frank Productions’ 20th season, we’re giving a nod to our past by bringing back dinner and a show. Join us at the beautiful Backstage at the Meyer where you can sit back, relax and be served a night to remember with dinner and a show.
Diamonds and Gold and Baumeister Sodas present “Girls on Ice” at the Backstage at the Meyer, March 14-17, 2019.
Amy, Lisa, Kelly and Kasey were best friends in college. They did everything together, told each other everything and never imagined that they’d drift apart. But, that’s exactly what happened. They all agree…well, almost all agree, that a reunion is in order. What better place to have a reunion than Kelly’s “She-Shed” in Dykesville! Kelly knows it’s the perfect location to catch up on gossip while catching some walleyes. Even her strange neighbors, Pat and Frank, won’t get in the way of a good old-fashioned girls weekend.
However, it’s been ten years since all four ladies have all been in the same room together. A lot can happen in ten years — new jobs, moves, marriages, divorces and children. Kelly has an update to share about her new, rather unexpected, hobby. Lisa has an update to share about a new set of skills she’s acquired. Amy has an update to share about where life has taken her. Kasey was the only one skeptical of this little reunion because she has been keeping a secret for the past decade. She bolted without any explanation right before college graduation and she’s been MIA ever since. With some persistent persuading from Amy and Kelly, Kasey agrees to the reunion. Will Kasey be able to explain why she vanished? Even if she can explain, does Lisa have it in her heart to forgive Kasey? Will the reunion bring the girls closer together, or will their bond melt like the ice under their feet? You’ll have to find out for yourself in this hilarious new musical-comedy.
