Allow me to introduce myself. My name is John Singer, and I’m a guitar player. I sing too! It’s not just a clever name. But for our purposes here, we’ll stick to the guitar. Growing up in the twin cities of Marinette / Menominee, I was taught privately by my mentor / local legend, Gerry Cain. I would later take my talents to a larger twin cities where I attended the McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota. Graduating with a BAS-Guitar Performance in 2010, my musical journey has spanned Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan. With my greatest joy thus far being performing with my mentor, Gerry Cain, and his musical family in Singer-Cain. Now for 2024 and beyond, I am excited to join another musical family. The Let Me Be Frank family. I look forward to sharing my passion with you. I’ll see you at curtain call.
