Andrew grew up in a musical household. His father, Kelly, was a mentor to him growing up, helping him learn the ins and out of the business. Throughout high school, he was a part of every music program offered, and that love carried him to college. Andrew went to McNally Smith in St. Paul for percussion performance. When he returned from college, he started playing live gigs and spent his whole 20s never slowing down. Andrew was a part of local award-winning bands such as Next Weeks News, Shaker and the Egg (2 WAMI, Best of the Bay), Consult the Briefcase (1 WAMI), and has filled in with countless more. In 2014 Andrew won the WAMI Award for Drummer of the Year. Currently, Andrew also works at Heid Music teaching drum and piano lessons. He is super excited for this new phase in life and grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing people!
