Kelly has performed all over the United States and Canada as the guitarist for Mid-West’s power rock band, The Blitz, in the late ‘80s. Before that, he was the guitarist in the trio, Excalibur, which performed in night clubs and high school dances all over Wisconsin. In 1991 Kelly joined NE Wisconsin’s premier variety band, After Dark, and has remained with the core of that group to this day. After Dark eventually evolved into the multi-WAMI award-winning tribute band, SEPARATE WAYS – The Journey Tribute. Kelly has been nominated for WAMI awards for guitarist, guitar instructor, and audio mixing multiple times over the years. Live audio mixing has been a passion of Kelly’s since his teenage years. Being a part of the Let Me Be Frank family as its audio director is a true honor and a challenge every day, one Kelly loves.
